Even though I just got my energy I am contemplating getting a chill. With the 75% let off rock mods will I lose valley? If so, how much? Also how solid do they make the back wall? And how much speed would I expect to pick up versus the 80%? A lot of people on AT were throwing around figures up to 10 fps more which doesn't seem right.

Get the Chill X! i prefer it 1000x over any other Monster bow. Its honestly the nicest Mathews ive ever shot. 75% rock mods will shorten your valley, because thats how lower letoff is achieved. the back wall is amazing with these mods, not quite an Elite but for a cable stop.. dang! best move Mathews has made IMO. The ATA of the Chill X is great and it is smoother and one of the quietest bows ive ever not heard ;) i too prefer lower letoff and would choose the 75% mods. I shot one with 85% mods and the valley was very forgiving

Very, very happy with my MR5 but if I was to pick up a second bow it would be the new Chill, no questions asked.

I am very intrigued by the Chill X. Between that and the Faktor 34. All these cool new products will quickly evaporate my bank account.

If I bought another bow it would be another ChillR:). Very lite. Super quiet and a dream to draw back and hold.
Now sure less let of would be worth the extra FPS. I like to be able to draw as smoothly as possible and hold it for extended time.

Yeah, the R over the X as the 35" does not have the right fit for me. All in all nice.

Another ChillR happy customer here. Will you be putting the Rock Mods on your ChillR?

Don't believe so. I've got the ChillR dialed in nicely and need to spend time in killing stuff with it now.
Chillx sounds like the ****z though.
