So let's say he has 80" on 1 side and the other is broke what do you do then.

Still would, 80" on one side is a huge accomplishemnt for any buck anywhere. That shed i found valentines day, scored 81 1/2, and if i saw a deer walking through the woods with JUST that, knowing he was a 3.5 or older, i wouldnt think twice about shooting.

My goal was to stop shooting young bucks and go for the more mature whitetails, that would qualify.

Well I got to say neither then. 120 in NW MO are pretty common. That's why I said put on 30 more inches of bone then I wouldn't have a problem with either.

Lol, i missed that right spelling, kudos :D

I would always wonder how a man with 24,000 combined posts on websites that i visit frequently over a 3 year period could still put an "O" in my name :D

    Just for fun, ;)

Are you going to tell me my goals are impossible? Out of reach?

Ive SAID, that my goal for 09' is a mature buck, or, in recent weeks as i have though about it, a "good representation of the species (a nice little one you like to use from time to time)). Reason being that i might take a chance at a nice 2.5 year old buck....no shame there, since my only buck bow kill is a 1.5.

Ive come to the point in my archery career (going on 4th year), that i would like to start being more selective of the bucks i try to take. Plenty of does to go around in Ohio for meat, which is an issue with me and my family (rather large).

I dont see anything wrong with that? Do you? ;):D

    LOL. :D

    You know how I swing!

For a Rob buck to score 120", he'd be twice the buck that a typical 120 would be. (looking) I'd choose number 2!

How will this year turn out?

80 inches of antler is something on one side of a deer. Figure from the side he'd look like a 170 class animal. I'm killing him. #2

I hope to next year 2010. It was amazing and even though the buck I missed will surely be gone, I have a debt to pay to one of them bruisers! :D
