I bought this a couple weeks ago, set up was perfect very easy. very well written directions, the only thing i dont like is, it doesnt tell you how to actuall Pack And Stack the dang thing. Absolutly no directions for it what so ever. checked online, went over the manual like fifty times, still no instructions.

Anybody have on of these and knows how to do this? Really the main reason i bought this, and i dont even know how to do it?

i got the 13 ft ladder. The foot platform on it is the type that fits between the ladder. I like it. it was very easy to assemble, it was my very first ladder stand and i had it up in 5 mins in my back yard.
comes with a safty harness, not the most comfortable. Still a very good buy in my eyes.

As in straps do you mean the rachet strapes? If you do, i would keep them. The stand without the straps can be used if its on a solid level ground. I had it up in some wetter soil and i really didnt feel all that safe climbing up it to strap it down, I would leave it with the straps, there is only one set and they are very easy to take off and put back on.

I hope that answers your question.....

I am also looking at the same stand and would love to hear your first hunting reports... noisy, heavy after a while, etc.

    thanks

i just got this stand today and i am pretty impressed with it. it is easy to setup and not too bad to carry. the carry strap was a little tricky to figure out but i finally got it to work by setting up in a "v" shape. setting up and taking it apart takes a little work until the paint is worn off a little. the sling seat is surprisingly fairly comfy. overall, this stand will make my hunting a little easier now.

So, shaky you could actually figure out how to carry it when its packed-n-stacked? There wasnt even any directions on the manual on how to do it. Is there any way you could explain how you did it.?:o

    hmmm i'll try.

after you get it all stacked up, lay it all down with flat part facing up and the seat on the bottom facing down.

grab one of the buckles and thread one end through the bottom from the back and then over the middle and through the top from the front. slide it down the strap a good ways.

thread that end from the bottom up and around 2 of the steps at the top and work the end through the buckle starting at the top and from the back.

run the long end of the rest of the strap around the bottom and back up to the top of the steps and do that end the same as the first end.

i hope this help but it all prolly sounds confusing so if you need me to i can post a picture or 2.
