Ripcord rest squealing on draw.

Im shooting Piledrivers with the ripcord rest and when I draw the friction between the rest and the shaft makes a squealing sound. Anyone have a remedy for this? Im thinking either some kind of lubrication, or a thin fabric glued to the rest.

Mole skin, or if you want to get fancy, you can sew a little cotton glove for the fork. That's what I used to do.

 

Ill give that a try, Im not talented or patient enough to sew something that small.

Just buy one of the code red launchers and replace yours with the new style that has the 'built in' felt..... As mentioned, mole skin would work too...
