    I believe hunting rights are most comparable to the right to bear arms. you have the right to own a gun (pistol) but have to buy a permit to do so. then you have to follow the ownership rules. comparing hunting rights to voting rights is not a good comparison. on a good note I put out a couple trail cams this afternoon! lol

    It is a right. The wildlife belongs to the public and is held in trust. I'm sure most hunters understand the Public Trust Doctrine, but if you don't you should look it up.
