Voting is considered a right, and it is regulated- you have to register to vote. (At least everywhere but Cook County IL.) Conceptually that is pretty much the same as buying a license. If you illegally vote or otherwise break agreed upon social norms (i.e. commit a felony) that right can be suspended. Regardless, it's an interesting question... even in states where it is constitutionality codified as a right; I honestly can't think of right where the excercise therof is more highly regulated than hunting/fishing.
In the grand scheme of things the percentile of people living off the grid is very small. Yes I feel that it is their right to hunt for food, because they need to do to survive. If it was truly your "right " then it wouldn't be regulated. I think it is now a privilege, and regulated. if it were not, there would be little to zero deer population. Settle down? when it comes to rights I will fight to the end. liberals want people to think everything we do is a privilege and we are supposed to be controlled by the government. rights protect us from that. when we believe that we have privileges and not rights, it's over. rights are something we can not let evolve. this country was built on rights and that is why we are free. if you want me to settle down then you are asking me to give up my right to free speech. not going to happen.
