I agree, I love it when folks take interest in learning the law on their own terms

Voting is considered a right, and it is regulated- you have to register to vote. (At least everywhere but Cook County IL.) Conceptually that is pretty much the same as buying a license.

If you illegally vote or otherwise break agreed upon social norms (i.e. commit a felony) that right can be suspended.

Regardless, it's an interesting question... even in states where it is constitutionality codified as a right; I honestly can't think of right where the excercise therof is more highly regulated than hunting/fishing.

In the grand scheme of things the percentile of people living off the grid is very small. Yes I feel that it is their right to hunt for food, because they need to do to survive.

If it was truly your "right " then it wouldn't be regulated.

I think it is now a privilege, and regulated. if it were not, there would be little to zero deer population. The History of the deer population is proof of that.

I don't give a crap one way or another, I'm too much of a redneck to be controlled anyway, if I want to hunt...I'll hunt and I feel sorry for the sob that says otherwise. Actually that's a total lie....I don't feel sorry for anyone that says otherwise.

Settle down? when it comes to rights I will fight to the end. liberals want people to think everything we do is a privilege and we are supposed to be controlled by the government. rights protect us from that. when we believe that we have privileges and not rights, it's over. rights are something we can not let evolve. this country was built on rights and that is why we are free. if you want me to settle down then you are asking me to give up my right to free speech. not going to happen.

LOL, all I meant by settle down was just I'm just trying to have a civil conversation. Trust me I'm no Libtard. I gladly fought and bled for the rights you're talking about, and would do it again in an instant without hesitation.

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to argue. I'm not a douchenozzle.
I have much respect for everyone's opinion on this forum, and much respect for you all as my hunting buddies.

The Constitution was written in a manner such that anyone could run for office and represent. Laws and rules in society have always been governed by people who learn "the law on their own terms"

The government doesn't control everything. It is my right to pursue game and fish. I'm a human, therefore I hunt. Therefore I kill for food

This is way different than voting. Citizens have the right to vote. If they are not felons. This protects America from a bunch of illegals voting for Hillary. Also by presenting I'd's it prevents the liberals from revoting. If u just said u have the rite to vote and no id is needed, people would vote until the ink ran out. Don't be stupid.

Oh and the reason I say liberals would vote till the ink ran out is because republicans have jobs and things to do. Liberals are leeches and a disease.

soooooo...are you saying hunting is a right for all except for illegal alien Hillary voters? I'm confused. Must be because I'm stupid.
I just don't understand your comparison...especially considering 19 states don't require any form ID to vote*, and last I knew all of them required a license to hunt (except in rare cases such as for American Indians.)

Hundred percent illegals are not allowed to hunt. How is that confusing. They are not even allowed to be here.

I dont even understand how this is in question. I'm an American. I work my ass off. Pay my taxes and my dues. I have the legal right to hunt.
Illegals don't pay taxes. Are undocumented. Don't do **** for the economy. Mooch from the government and u think they have any rights? Gtfo. Ur joking right.
As far as the thread topic. I will hunt and fish till the day I die. My food source is based off venison , fish, grouse, geese. Now to the liberal idiots who say you can buy food and don't need to hunt. You're right. Hundred percent I could buy all the food I need at the market. But I laugh at the idiots who spend hundreds of dollars monthly buying chicken, beef etc. I only buy fruit and vegetables. What a waste of money. And that's exactly what the govt wants. Ur a donation factory. Ur brainwashed liberals.
