Right Bow

    Mathews Genesis would work pretty good for bowfishing?
    My son's have one but right now tryting to get them to shoot with it
    has been rough.

    I was thinking that I might try to convert my PSE next spring to a bowfishing bow. Unless I sell it between now and then!

    I think the problem you will run into Peakrut is that the Genisis can only be cranked to 20 lbs....That is not going to be enough to get much of a shot out there IMHO

    personally i like a recurve. its easier to shoot instinctive while bowfishing with a recurve to me. any compound with a draw weight of, personal opinion here, 40 pounds should work only make sure it be 1 that you arent afraid of getting banged around. seems bowfishing is much harder on your equipment, especially when you get in alot of action
