That happened to me and I had to push mow a 2 acre field on a steep hill. I feel your pain.

Unfortunately we have a little under 2 acres and its pieces front sides and back yards with only 2 pieces level. Not fun so I hear ya Jimmany!

I have two riders for our place. Every year I say this is the last year I am going to piece these things back together. Then before I know it another year comes and goes and I find they have survived yet one more season. I guess I could open a shop by now... but I dream of that 60 inch Bad Boy Mower Zero Turn. Oh well... here goes nothing... back on the Ol'Craftsman... for another round today. I am thankful because I do remember push mowing. Hope you get it fixed quickly... be safe pushing for now.

My rider is down as well. I own 2+ acres as well but I've been paying $50 for a crew to do it until I find a zero turn to buy.

Having gone from a place where I mowed about 15 acres to now only having a quarter acre this thread makes me miss the old place.

If I could get 2 acres cut for 50 bucks I'd never touch another mower... ever.

    $50 bucks a week adds up I don't know if I would.

Yep and that's a steal. Most get $60 per acre depending on steepness and how much trimming

Big business around here...75-150 for average sized yards. Ours would be close to 200, I have been told, and the mowing season is March-October. Ouch!
