Sorry if I missed the part where we weren't allowed to think Richard is a d-bag and disagree like adults. My bad.

I haven't read this entire thread but...I hope Sherman has 3 interceptions of Manning.

    That would be epic.

You know what is going to be epic?

Watching Manning erase any doubt that he is the GOAT.

We shall see. Roger Goodell is probably the happiest man in America right now...I haven't heard this much Super Bowl hype since the "Brady - Dynasty" years...

If the weather is exceptionally windy it will play into Seattle's favor big time. The wind in that stadium tends to swirl rather than be consistantly in one direction which can make it extremely difficult to throw with any consistancy.

Exactly, which leads me to believe the league actually likes antics like Sherman's.

Early predictions I heard was around 32, 10% chance of precipitation, 7-10 mph winds. Not too bad really.

This mornings forecast for Super Bowl is showing high of 40, 40% change of precipitation, wind 9 mph.

So yeah maybe it won't be such bad weather....I hope they avoid snow/rain

Sherman's agent has recently stated that his client stands to profit around $5 million in additional endorsements due to all the recent media exposure.

    I guess acting like a d-bag pays?

Common theme, talent trumps attitude in professional sports. Both were near the top at their positions in the league. Try their stunts as 4th man off the bench and you have a short career.

I agree, but it's all marketing yourself. That's all it is these days

**** Sherman is still a puke in my eye's!! Me me, look at me. Pathetic!! Hooker, Fletch- couldn't agree more with you guys. Everyone in the league knows he's good. He did not need to open his mouth to prove that. Again it was about him. His college education didn't do him much good there.

Sherman kicks azz and just made millions of a rant due to pissy pants Crabtree being a poor sport when Sherman said Good Game and tried to shake his hand. I hope Sherman has a pick six and shuts down Manning all day.

I hope you don't believe that's what he was doing. He even admitted to saying more directly after the game. Besides, he still made the choke motion to the QB.

Come on, he's a dbag, and there's no excuse for his behavior.

Crabtree is probably a dbag too but that's still no excuse.

I guarantee you Sherman did that to shove it in his face. He was not trying to be a good sport. He's a prick. I can't see how people can defend this guy. I'd never defend my daughter if she pulled crap like this. IF you had a child would you be ok with them doing what Sherman did? I don't look at professional sports as entertainment. I watch it because I love the game, not the BS that's starting to pop up more and more. I played hockey all through high school. Our biggest rival was from Hutchinson, Minnesota. The biggest POS people I've ever met. Their parents were poor sportsman and the kids followed suit. To this day I hate that town because of how they act. What Sherman did brought me back to my days of HS hockey and the kids/parents from Hutchinson. I remember my dad almost laying a parent out in the stands because the guys mouth was bad and I mean bad. My dad gave this guy hell and he shut up thank god. Poor sportsmanship has no place no matter you're competitiveness. I was very competitive in sports but never crossed the line.
