He is definitely a "RICHARD". A low-class, "Richard".

He showed little class by how he acted. You really get to know a person not only how they are when they lose but also when they win. Not only is it important not to be a sore loser but it's just as important not to be a sore winner. He should have taken the high road and said "We had a bit of banter going back and forth and we both gave it our all. It was a good game and I'm excited to be going to the Super Bowl."

So it is easy for everyone to sit here and demolish Sherman for his actions. I for one get tired of the NFL and how the players act, but the league allows it and does nothing short of a penalty to stop it. Maybe it is time to stop hating the player and start hating the game? Has the NFL come out to condone his actions? People do this in the heat of passion and do so knowing others have done it. Is this guy a piece of sh-t? Far from it, the guy actually grew up in one of the roughest areas of the country and worked to inspire his teammates in High School to achieve higher grades and was the first in his High School in something like 2 decades to go to Standford. He is also a guy with a chip on his shoulder because NFL scouts saw nothing in him and he went 5th round draft and had to prove himself while making 550k a year. The man shuts down multi-million dollar opponents every week and is a little frustrated with his perceived lack of respect, similar to quite a few post in this forum about guys who weren't appreciated at work;) I think the true issue is the NFL, the NFL just got a ratings boost with this guys antics and they are doing nothing so did Richard Sherman do anything wrong when the league allows these actions? The moral code is lost in the game because every team has guys that are breaking it, some just stand out a little more like Sherman;)

Here was a great CNN story on Richard, he actually could have turned out a lot worse in life considering his humble beginnings.

While his teamates were celebrating the win together he was busy running around taunting the other team giving them the choke sign. He is all about himself. Very few of the great players in the league would ever behave this way. The guy already had a reputation in the league for being a D-bag...this is nothing new

    Go Broncos :)

    So......since the league allows him to be a d-bag, he really isn't a d-bag?

Must be a rough life. I will gladly spend my whole life trying to prove myself to my boss for 550K a year:D (I get the point, but still, you have to laugh).

It's not anyone else's responsibility but HIS to control his actions. He and he alone is responsible for both the good and the bad. Heat of the moment or not, he is on a public stage and even worse, a stage where many younger kids are looking up to him.

Where someone comes from means jack ****. It's an excuse that's been beat to death and a horrible cop out for acting like a ****** rocket. The greatest man I know was born dirt *** poor to a drunken gambler. Bathed in a steel washtub behind a wood stove. He became one of the most successful business people in our area and empowered a lot of people to become better people themselves. Never ever forgetting where he came from. No way would you ever hear him speak about himself or others like **** Sherman does. For that, my father is a real man and a real role model.

I just demolish him for being a d*****. Earl Thomas too. And Pete Carroll.

I find the majority of people who constantly talk about their "lack of respect" or whatnot to be giant d******.

That's what I was wondering about through this whole thing. Why are you talking smack to Crabtree because the ball was under thrown to him and didn't allow him to make a play on the ball? Not like Sherman cracked him and caused a fumble or wrestled the ball out of his hands for an interception. He didnt' win any battle against Crabtree. He made a play on a pretty bad throw.

He's a ****ing puke! I hope Payton lights him up! I was a Seattle fan until his mouth opened when Andrews interviewed him. And since when does a college education not make you accountable? I know many *** clowns who have degrees that are book smart but dumber then hell in life.

What was his excuse for the choke motion? Not that I care because he is a classless piece of **** as far as im concerned. In the same category as Terrel Owens.

I agree with this. IMO Sherman was fortunate the pass was underthrown so that he was able to recover (he seemed to be out of position as the ball was coming down). The result may have been different if the ball had been thrown where it should have been?

What he said is true. Crabtree is not a top 20 receiver, and skip bayless is about as worthless as you can get. I think he could have said it better, but at least he told the truth.

Exactly. This action is where he loses all credibility.

Apparently this is just an offshoot of Seattle in general. They trash talk on the field a lot, very loud and vocal from what I read. This just happened to be on TV.

Apparently their fans are no better either. When the guy that got his leg bent in the wrong direction at the knee got carted off the field, I saw a video where Seattle fans were throwing food and drinks at him as they were entering the tunnel.
