3.9 GPA from Stanford in Communications. He did not swear and I thought articulated his points very well.
Have respect for the game and your opponent. Sure it is an emotional game but it is the NFL not the WWE....
I like the guy. Like Germ said, he went to Stanford, the guy isn't dumb. Never heard him say anything bad though. Just some really good trash talk that some people can't handle. Im sure Crabtree was talking just as much, he just ended up on the losing end.
LOL I love how he expects us to believe that he was just telling Crabtree "Good game" when Crabtree shoved him in the face. Sherman is a monumental ******.
For the guys that like him, would you want your son to grow up and be like him? Have him be a role model? Take his words to heart and live by them? Act like he does? Talk down to others like he does?
Hell no, nor would I let my son watch him do that, I still find him entertaining, I like him in a funny way, I find him comical.
Best cornerback in the league....biggest attitude in the leauge....I dont condone his actionsas far as sportsmanship goes but it was a slick stunt....if you didnt know who he was before you do now....hell get a bigger payday being a household name even as a love to hate type of guy AND because he is the best at what he does and keeps proving it.....hes smart......he talks trash like most do...he makes plays....im watching and im liking the whole package Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
No child can watch him, he plays in Seattle. These couple of games are his chance to get some attention until he falls back into the media blackhole. He's not the first and won't be the last, that lacks maturity and professionalism. NFL is for entertainment and he excels.
My son was sitting next to me during that interview. This was after I just mentioned to him to notice how everyone was shaking hands and saying good game to each other win or lose.
Not a fan. He may be "intelligent," but makes some dumb decisions. This isn't the first time his arrogance on the field has shown. I think his character is seriously lacking. Are there worse players? Absolutely.
According to Sherman he was patting Crabtree on the butt and telling him "good game" when Crabtree pushed him in the face. He also said he was mic'd for NFL films so if that's true we should have some audio to back it up. Still waiting to hear that. Second, apparently there was some bad blood between these two guys going back to a charity event from last year where they nearly got into a fist fight. Still waiting on some additional details there as well. With that said, I think Sherman could've handled himself better given the circumstances. Sure, he was heated and not in the greatest state of mind and I think most of us have been there at some point in our lives so I get it. However as a professional and a role model he needs to be more aware of what he's saying and how he's portraying himself and his team. It's one thing to get in the guy's face on the field, it's another to blow up in a female reporter's face and act like an idiot on national TV. I also think if Sherman was smart he would've been talking smack on Kaepernick who underthrew the ball and gave him a chance to tip it. 5 inches higher and that's a game winning TD. Crabtree didn't screw up on that play, Colin did. If you're going to talk trash at least talk it to the right guy.
This is what I laugh at in this whole situation. The Sherman defenders are like "He was just saying good game to Crabtree and Crabtree shoved him!" LOL no Even if he did say tap him on the butt and say "Good game", he did it to antagonize Crabtree. He knew exactly what he was doing. Stop trying to act innocent you monumental ******.
Personally, I'd want my kid to not pay attention to any of the dolts in sports. I'd prefer them to look up to people that actually do something that matters in life. Personally I think that any yahoo serving food at a fast food joint is probably more important than anyone in professional sports.
