Well last post season scouted my grand fathers 25 acre property to see what it has to offer. After looking at the layout of the land, I wanted to dig deep in a couple spots. Came across some sign in 2 spots that got me excited! To the point my hair was standing up. Found very impressive rub line which took me to a single big bed on a ledge in some pines with a big rub. 2nd was a couple good rubs ona rock face with a ledge and another single big bed overlooking a heavy trail and very secured in both areas. Set a camera on the one bed and told my grandpa I would be surprised if I don’t get a good deer on here. Pulled the camera today and feel accomplished in my scouting ability. Yes I hung another one on a freshly used trail 15 yards from that bed, and took the other one down before I ever checked the card. The other bed that I was more excited about I didn’t hang a camera because it turns out it’s my grandpas neighbors property. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've hung cameras on beds in the past, and the one thing that always amazed me was just how many different bucks used the same beds. Good luck if you're hunting those bucks this fall!
