I might tend to agree for a couple reasons. First, the boredom factor is going to likely play big on the Western Hunter, and maybe more than the stamina factor will affect the Eastern Hunter. If a WH glasses for 2 days and doesn't see a damned thing, he's gonna be frustrated, I'll guarantee it. But for many of us whitetail hunters, there are days we don't see anything. Now what makes the Western hunt more difficult for the EH is the shot distance, because MANY of us EH's don't shoot past 50-60yds even when we practice, but a western hunt may require us to shoot that far if we want to be successful. The other things that play in are how skittish whitetails are, vs. antelope, mule deer and elk. I've seen shows where guys stalked up on antelope and mule deer, and thought to myself, "There ain't no way in HELL he'd pull that off on a whitetail." If you really want to know, ask Chuck Adams, I believe he'd agree with Trevor and myself to some extent. Chuck has killed record book whitetails, but their not his cup of tea, and he's not shy about telling people that. PROPERTY LINES!!!!! Property lines are another thing that will burden the WH's if hunting in the east in the woodlots that most of us hunt. We can't walk for miles on end and hunt, we often times are hunting properties of 100acres or less, which certainly creates an obstacle in and of itself.
