I am no good at this scoring thing. To me that's a shooter for sure.

I think he will gross in the 160’s for sure.... maybe more. Plenty big enough.

Shoot him so we know for sure. Great buck, plenty of inches there. I thought 150's for sure but I don't score anything that big in my areas. I had a 30 class buck under me this morning. Mainframe spike w/ brows and a couple stickers.

Ran camera yesterday and got pics of my #1. He’s just not moving in daylight. Got to wait him out.

That is a hoss you've got the Okie! He'll push 160+, heart pounding stud!

No luck today, maybe next time.

I was hoping he would show last night.. I had a little 8 chasing a doe for thirty minutes, grunting the whole time. Was fun to watch. Then I had a doe and two fawns bed below my stand and that little buck bed behind them. Waited 45 minutes in the dark and finally just bumped them. Skipping this morning, going out this evening.

On a side note, a farmer that leases from us down in southwest Oklahoma just sent me a text and said the sandhill cranes are starting to show up. Looks like "sky rib eye" will be on the menu soon.

Just gonna have to go after this deer some when the vacation starts. I know he’s young but I ain’t boonerville.

He will be dead in the next 3 weeks. I might as well be the one to kill him.

Well when I said 3 weeks I meant 3 hours. My brother just shot that deer about 45 minutes ago. Heading over to help hopefully recover him. Stay tuned.

I pulled a camera that I moved over a fresh scrape that opened up about a week ago. Easy access field edge, mostly night pics but I was amazed at the action. Oct 15th was crazy. 6 different bucks checked it, 4 legal (3up or more) 25 yards from that scrape is a 4' diameter torn up area w/ another scrape. I also saw 10 deer hit on the road last night. It seems early for all the action I'm seeing. Can't wait to check other cameras tomorrow night when I hunt.

We backed out. It was definitely not a double lung hit. He’s going back in the morning to look in daylight. The deer ran into a 15 acre woodlot surrounded by open fields so if he dies in there we will find him. Sleepless night for my brother.

He found him this morning 50 yards from where we stopped looking. I’ll post better pics later.

5E619FE7-0875-4EDF-8CF9-7E2498A142C4.jpeg Our bucks on the property down the road from me aren’t residents they only pass through. Guess who I go the other day in daylight :) He was too shy to even look at the camera lol. He’s a buck I had a close encounter with 2 years ago. He isn’t a mega giant but he’s a freaking bully buck. South wind on this particular day which tells me he’s cruising and scent checking our doe bedding. I watched him on the neighbors field last year steal a doe from a buck bigger than him like taking candy from a baby. I would love to arrow him

First sit in a new stand I put in last spring. Perfect wind for it tonight. Lots of good sign walking in, I may have my hopes up...

I have my hope's up! I have a east wind, barometric pressure rising and cloud cover. This east wind has a good record of bringing bucks by this stand in late October.
