Haha. Funny thing is I’m definitely country but I don’t like country music at all. About the only country music I listen to anymore is ‘The New South’ by Hank Jr (circa 1974).

    I’m a metal guy.

'74 was a good year for country, lol. I pretty much like everything but the new bro country and pop.

However, I saw Roy Clark and Emmylou Harris do country bumpkin once when I was about fourteen and it was amazing.

The more I think about it I believe I'm the only one to hold down the West on our team. Just hoping to drop something an or food in the freezer. Good luck to all this season.

We have had a warm spell vslso. Helped a buddy put up 2 stands in 91degree weather. Sticky stuff. Just about 1month before we are in a stand.

So I went out to the hunting grounds today, its dry and my plot really needs the rain after the temps last week. Decided to slip into the woods and check out a few spots. On my way to my stand I hear some rustling in the leaves so I pull out the old 45 thinking it's a pig rooting around. Turns out it was a couple of copperheads, didn't want to dump the clip this close to season over a couple of snakes so I made tracks, quickly.

Man that’s one thing that makes my skin crawl. I run into water moccasins from time to time out at my duck swamp. I leave them be but man they give me the heeby jeebies

Terrible picture, but happy to finally see a decent deer on it's feet. This is the only pic I got but he may be the buck I am targeting from last year. If he is, he didn't show up last year until Aug 30 on any cameras then he stayed until Christmas. Last year's pic also. 13 points, not real heavy but I know he made b/c a friend found one side 2 miles away. IMG_20180829_074335063.jpg IMG_20171112_161715837.jpg

Normally I probably would plugged them full of holes but I was in one of those live and let live moods and I was pretty close to a buck bedding area so..
