I have a chance to buy a Alpine Denali Bow for $100. Special family price. I believe it is a 2005 Model. Anyone have any comments on this bow? Thanks.

timb--as long as you can fling an arrow accurately out to about 20-25 yards, it doesn't matter what kind of bow you have (not saying you don't have a good bow but you know what I mean)..best of luck to you.

can't see how you can go wrong. Just make sure you have someone adjust the draw and poundage to your specs with right arrows and go for it.

Welcome back to bowhunting. For a $100, I'd take. A 2005 bow will kill a deer just as easily as a 2009 bow will. Not much money invested into if you don't like it, and you could always sell it when you want to upgrade. Just make sure that the draw length fits you right.

    Welcome back to the sport!

I'd say that's a pretty good deal. If you do buy and decide to get something else...it would still make a great back up bow. Can't go wrong IMO.

As long as the bow either fits you or can be adjusted to fit you... go for it! The majority of the Alpines that I've seen have been very very quiet.
