    Well the season is winding down. I may get out once more to actually hunt and try to kill a doe before closing time. I will be scouting, hiking, clearing for food plots for the next 9 months. Then I think we should do this again.

    It's weird that season is closed here. Usually runs a little later, but we do allow late urban archery in approved cities. I've been looking to see if there's one somewhat close to me, just to see if I could pull off one last doe for the freezer. So far 5 hours is closest. Would be nice if NC published a list of participants, but NOOOOO

    Well our doe hunt has ended and luckily the buck I hit still has his antlers, but I'm thinking I have a short window before he drops them. I will be at the ATA show this week, but then back at it when I get back. Hoping for snow as that gets these deer up here moving whether its cold or warm.
