Dropped the buck quarters off at the butcher yesterday. Ole boy that owns it is a talker! I know his whole life story and his schedule for the next two weeks and I was there 15 minutes. Wow. I doubt I'll hunt much this week. I have to get a lot done before going to MO next week and I don't want any stress over my head (read keep the wife happy).

Unpacked and ate my Missouri flavored tag soup today. It was bitter and salty. I'll be after a doe later this week, maybe tomorrow. I do need to chill out and dedicate some time to home stuff. It is so good to be home. I love that trip, but comforts of home are very nice.
Hey! You don't eat the tag soup unless I prepare it for you. And you won't be washing it down with any Dr pepper, either, cuz I'm the effing captain!
