I actually love hunting in the rain but only until it becomes a soaker . The second it begins to downpour I'm out Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
I theoretically love hunting in a light rain… but I hate getting my pack wet, takes forever to dry out
My first place hunt is light NE wind(never happens here) after all the leaves are down and dry as hell. The anticipation when you hear them coming from so far away gets my heart going even now. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk

So far this season I haven't really had that fire under me to hunt and I haven't really been as active on the forum either. Something bout hunting here in these hills I think. When I lived in MO, I obviously had blank sits, but they are more frequent here. Wears ya out. I'll snap out of it. This year has been crazy for me anyway and I don't think I've quite gotten in a groove.
Oh and the hurricane totally destroyed my new plot. Pretty bummed about that. I guess I'll throw some clover seed down for the spring.
