I’d sure move if I weren’t seeing deer and didn’t have any movement on camera. I’m gonna have to settle on a new stand location here but I’m not sure I want to go out there this evening. It’s hot and humid. Right now it’s 84 but the heat index is in the mid-90s. At 4:00 it’s supposed to be 89. The heat index will be pushing 100. Still, I’d like to get a stand set up for the morning.
It's warm here too and I'm really low on motivation right now. Might hunt that spot one more time in the morning to switch things up, collect my stand and move for the evening.
You have no idea. The problems are varied and numerous. Take this one for example: What am I going to do with all of these fish fillets when I start putting deer in the freezer?
Chris, if you came all the way here you wouldn’t even have to get up to get another beer. Some of the fish will be fried at deer camp at Van Buren this year. @Ridgerunner3 and @S.McArthur will enjoy it, I’m sure. Tony has always had a standing invitation but he always no-shows me, especially since he found a place to hunt in Kentucky.
Gonna be a weird week for weather here. Not sure how much hunting I'll get in, but there may be some doe hunts despite weird winds, warm temps and lots of rain forecast
I’ll be back in a tree on 10/5… small possibility I could get out Monday evening but we’ll see what happens
