Don't you use logic and reason on this forum... It might start a trend

Looks like the weather is nothing but rain for days when I get back. Great for my new grass and my fooplots, crap for decent hunts and blood trailing. I may hunt close to the house for a doe and a dry towel.

On the positive side. Early season will be in the 80s so since I can't hunt (thanks @Suncrest08 ) I won't be missing much

You can hunt! But you’re welcome, I can start the 21st, if you want to start the panty party then I’m good with it.

I have one and it’s fantastic.

We have to spray our yard for ticks here in the hills and it sure beats having to work that pump up handle.

That is what I'd appreciate the most. Steady pressure without the pumping nonsense. I'm too old for all that. And cue the comments gallery. Ole, "too old to pump" ridgerunner, blah blah.

In my post I chose my wording carefully. I could almost sense @cantexian waiting to pounce on a poor choice of words.

There’s a little blue pill to help with that. So I have heard. Us young guys still have enough testosterone to have only heard rumors about it.

Leaving Montana this morning after a really nice vacation. I'll probably hit the woods tomorrow for an evening test run/work the kinks out/cuss all my gear/maybe spot a deer too far away, hunt.

As soon as work is over, I'm going for the first sit of the season. Probably a doe hunt. Fairly cool and overcast. Should be fun and I'll probably cuss my gear a lot, forget something at the house, etc, but hot damn, it's here!

We are getting soaked with rain for the next couple days, so I won't be back out till it quits.

Last night went smoothly with the gear and set up, but the deer had other places to be I guess. At least the foodplot is getting a good soak. I'm almost as excited about that as I am deer season opening. I really need a good draw for these hill deer.

There are 3 options in life.
    Wait for something to happen.
    Make something happen.
    Wonder what the eff happened.

Looks like I need to make something happen. I have no deer activity on the southern slopes by me as of now. I know they will shift, but not yet. I need to shift to my other spot for a bit. I can get on a doe over there without a ton of effort. Probably end up there tonight.

Good luck if you're hunting already.
