I need to get all my gear situated, organized and cleaned up. I haven't even found a place for it all at the new house. I feel like I'm behind this year more than usual and it's starting to annoy me.
I am ready to for the season, have one more stand to hang and need to buy my KY, ILL and NY licenses when i get back from Alaska next week.
Unpacking all my gear, clothes and organizing today. I need to shoot some. Have something going on with the bow and I need to sort that out. Debating on stripping my 3 vanes off the new arrows and refletching to 4, but I'm not sure I really need to this year. I really need to get some serving, so I can re-tie my peep that needs to come up slightly, which means a new round of sighting in. Eff me to tears. There's never enough time. All this just to start killin.
Yeah for sure. I was running them on my last arrows, but switched my set up to a bit lighter arrow set that came 3 fletcher from the shop. I usually just order shafts, but took what I could get for a good deal on 12 carnivores. Anyway, sitting down at the jig one at a time...ugh.
I’ve come to the conclusion either my glue has gone bad or I’m really bad… fletched up some Flex Fletch vanes that you can use any glue with and they seem to stick amazing. Time will tell
I have been kicking around 4 Fletch but my shop only has the 3. There just isn't enough of a draw to purchase a new rig. But I love building arrows and adjusting outsert weight until I find what my girl likes. I think I'm staying for one more season at 550 with a small fixed head Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Hey guys I gave you a shout out on facebook.com/bowhunting Bowhunting.com facebook page. You going down. :-)
I enjoy it as well, theraputic for me and makes the time pass quicker when I am watching the same kid's movie for 84th time.
I gotta get a couple of cameras out too. I just discovered a new piece of mountain property just a couple miles off that family owns. Guess I'm making a phone call. It's 20 acres, secluded, and I really want to scout it. Uphill to the top, so mostly down hill drags. Hmm.
