Then I have no idea. The phone browser is so much easier so that’s what I use.

Hey boys so they didn't give me any answers... Only to go see my specialist Tuesday. It's better today and floaters are getting lighter. Spent the morning helping at the shop and only had time to throw a few arrows. But my bow is tuned. The pic is from 20 yrds.... She is tight bullet boys[IMG]

I always thought that paper tuning was done at like 3 yards or less so you know how the arrow is leaving the bow before the fletching has a chance to correct the arrow flight. Oh well, I sure don't know everything about tuning a bow.

Got two stands hung for dad, a spot prepped for my saddle, and started to scout a little before I needed to be home, jumped two unknowns and found a giant community scrape that was all bare dirt, and a cell cam not 20 yards away… never made it to the funnel that I wanted to get to, had to head home. Ill get there next time, difficult to get to but I think it could be a great early season spot if the giant oak I can see from the road is dropping… outside of that it might be an awesome spot during the rut

The X is where I was heading and where I still want to check out, scrape is on the left, that red line is a restricted access lottery only hunting area, I drew the tag there a few years back, some monsters in there. Hoping I can get back out here some time soon!

You start a 3 then you work back to 7 10 then 20. Or maybe it's just me idk just how I have been taught it.

I have simplified my tuning seemingly every year that goes by.

I start and end with a bare shaft at 3 yards and 11 yards …11 because that’s how far I can shoot in my shop.

I get clean Bare shaft at 11 yards I always have a bullet hole fletched and I have yet to not have broadheads group with FP at 30 yards. At most I might need a horizontal tweak for broad head windage at 40plus and usually that is less than a 1/16 of rest adjustment.

Good morning fellas. I’ve been sitting around for 2 1/2 hours waiting for the family to wake up. Drank so much coffee and watching animals getting shot on you tube. Let’s get this day going !!! Gonna be hot in Richmond today !!!!
Hope the eyes feeling good fix. Sounds like it’s getting better. Not sure it would be too easy to move stands with a bum eye

3 hours of non stop chainsawing and I am tApping out…. That’s almost 2 hours better than before I went carnivore… no pain now… just out of shape

Rest a little and shoot the bow for a half an hour then off to my sisters and her inground pool and some non Carnivore cocktails

Scouted some yesterday and that paid off. I suspected where some bedding would be and I wasn't wrong. Problem is it is between my access and the only oaks on the 9 acres. Just a sea of poplar that I need to remedy...next year. Anyway, today is chorin all day and headed to some live music at the local apple festival in town later.

I bought some new broadheads from exact archery. Lusk did a review here recently and I liked the way they looked, like a cut on contact slick trick mag. I also ordered a new jacket. First lite solitude. I needed a windproof insulated jacket, since the wind was cutting me in half last late season.

I’ve watched some of John’s reviews and saw a few broad heads I’d like to try, but for the time being I’m stocked up on Slick Trick Magnums.

A couple of Arkansas friends were switching to mechanicals and I picked up four packages for $20 per 4 pack, so now I have 16 brand new heads.

They said they had more but I figured that was enough for me.

On another note, I am bored to death right now. Around two weeks ago I went in to have a CT scan done on my sinuses because I’d been having so much trouble with sinus blockage, waking up with horrible headaches every morning I and just feeling bad.

The scan showed a massive sinus infection so they put me on these gigantic “horse pill” antibiotics. One giant pill every six hours for three weeks.

I’m about halfway through the regimen and while my sinuses are slowly feeling better the medicine is wreaking havoc on my digestive system. Let’s just say I feel poorly in the morning and can’t venture far from a bathroom at all.

Fortunately for me the pills will run out just as the season opens.

I believe John said these were replaceable blades. How are the blades held in place. Their webpage didn’t show new blades for sale. I like this 4 blade design and really like the Tota heads but sharpening takes a little time. What did you think of the out of the package sharpness?
