Hey guys, I guess I should take some pictures of all this, but I thought maybe I'd try to get some conversation going to see if I can get it fixed.

I have a Martin bow, new last year. I bought a kit, had a prong rest and a low quality sight on it.

After some shooting I was holding respectable groups. I finally switched out the rest to a NAP drow a way. By this time I had enough knocks and vanes messed up that I used some shrink tube fletchings.

Now my 2 problems arise. The blazers on the shrink tube arrows touch my bus cables. Is this normal? How can I fix that? Do I have to shoot the shorter vanes always?

Problem 2, no matter what speed the friggin rest is set at my left vane touches. S

So, if I'm shooting an arrow with blazers, the right fletch touches the bus, then the left touches the rest... wow.

I'm still making ok groups, just not what I was used to, and its just not good enough. Deer season is right around the corner.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Try ajusting so you have one blazer sticking at a 90 degree from your string, this might help your blazer from touching your cables.

If you have the martin cheetah like I do then you have to put on a offset cable guide for your your bus cables I ordered one from martin so I could use a qad rest and put my marker vane straight up. this made the cables clear the vanes.
