I haven't tried the Apache but of the two that would be my choice. I tried a QuickTune and had trouble with clearance getting the vanes through without contacting, with the support post wearing out and with noise going across the support post. Other than that it was great. :D

Were you using blazers or vanes? i am looking for something full capture so i dont have to worry too much about the arrow coming off the rest

Blazers are vanes. Any fletching you use is going to hit that rest unless it's straight fletched or very slightly offset 2" vanes.

If you want a full containment drop-away check out the QAD and Ripcord designs. If you want a full containment shoot through then it's hard to beat the WB.

I was going to switch over to a less expensive rest myself, but ended up getting the QAD ultra rest. This rest is SWEET! It is not cheap but well worth the money, i'm glad I went with it.

I've set up and used both rests, and I prefer the Apache. You get the full containment you're looking for plus complete fletching clearance b/c its a dropaway. Super easy to set up, and so far I haven't found a downside to this rest. I have one on my Elite Judge and will be flinging arrows at some antelope in 2 weeks with it. I don't think you can go wrong with the Apache.

Just get you a Rip Cord rest and you will not be sorry. I have shot most every rest, have Rip Cords on all my bows now. Oh and that is 13 bows to be exact. Try one!!...Good luck in whatever you choose.

I got my Apache yesterday and am having trouble - it doesn't fit my Hoyt 38 Pro very well...

I can only get about half the vertical adjustment and it hits the body of the bow.

did you try putting on the plate that comes with it or do you have the plate on now and need to take it off, or can you move it to a different hole? it fit my bow like a dream.

yeah, its fits ok and that plate wouldn't help since its not a left/right thing, but an up/down problem- I can only get it to the center of the height adjustment, won't go past that since it runs into the riser that kicks back around my grip.

I sent NAP and e-mail and no response yet... it LOOKS as if I could take a dremel and remove some of the body of the sight, but I am hesitant to do that. really really hesitant

I got the pull rope? Served in today, and will toss some arrows with it tomorrow... It may not matter... I hope.

My vote on those 2 is for the apache. I loved mine. I had trouble with the quicktune on my wife's bow with fletching clearance and those little brushes I'm told wear out frequently.

On a side note, I just bought a QAD ultra rest hdx for my z7x and it blows the 2 fore mentioned rests out of the water! Cost is higher, but so is the quality and it's made in America unlike the NAP rests which are hecho in china
