Alright so I just got the new Hijack from octane to replace my old drop rest, one thing I did notice was I really loved the design; holds the arrow nice and steady then on the release not one fletch even touching the rest which i feel has improved my accuracy; I have used Whisker Biscuits and drop away's but I have to say that this rest I would say has been the better of the Arrow rests I have used.
I was wondering if anyone else has used this rest or other capture rests and how would you compare it to other rests?

I started with the Octane and I thought it was great as a first time compound user. But as the bristles wore grouping went south and replacement bristles never came back to original accuracy. Once you start smelling burn't hair, the bristles are shot. I switched to an QAD Ultra drop away and never looked back.

Do you have the one with the brushes or the felt? My Assassin came with the newer felt style and I hate it. The felt fell off almost immediately loading an arrow and one of the adjustment set screws stripped out almost immediately. It seems to work well enough but seems cheaply made to me.

I have the felts but I have fired mine about 10 times now and so far there holding up, but I guess we will see; from some of the reviews I see some positive but a lot more on the negative, for a company who does great work with there firearms (Savage) I would hope they would bring the same level to there archery.
Thanks for the warnings though, I just really wanted to get away from the drop I had it was horrible it would only drop when the fletches hit the rest.
