well im new with bowhunting and im starting to loose or tear vanes during practice.question is should i remove the vane and reglue it?or glue the part thats torn away?or can they be reused?i tried the shrink wraps last year but dont want part of my arrows shrink wrapped and the other half w/vanes.im also using a buckmaster arrow stop.
El, if you've damaged a wrapped arrow (arrow wrap and glued on vanes) then to repair one vane you need to take it all off and put a new wrap and 3 new vanes on. I'm not sure what a buckmaster arrow stop is, can you elaborate or take a picture of what ya go going on?
the arrows are not wrapped.the arrows are carbon and the vanes are glued on.didnt know if you can reglue the vanes or do they have to be preped first?
I have re-glued the part of the vane that has came un stuck with no problems there is no saftey issues
The buckmaster stop I'm assuming is his target. Walmart sells them. Mine doens't have them any more. If you can find one, pick one up, it's $25 and I put hundereds of shots into it. Really good deal actually.
