Removing smell from canvas topped bean boots

    i got these like new canvas waxed bean hunting boots,but they smell like they have been in a perfume factory for months.boots are like new but I have had onporch airing out and I still won’t wear them.i figured a send back hassle wasn’t worth it.any tricks to get these boots stink free?

    Well baking soda and activated charcoal. Get a couple of large ziploc or better yet vac seal bags put one boot in the bag each bag with BS and or charcoal and seal. Lightly vac then seal on vac seal bag.
    If that doesn't work, wipe them down with a damp rubbing alcohol rag or white vinagar.

    If there is no mildew, Enzymatic spray.

    It’s like a good deal on eBay or a good thrift store deal on camo,the fabric softener stench is impossible to remove.boots have airing two months and still won’t wear them.
