I was wondering what is the most effective way of removing minerals to ensure that they are are out of the ground after the ground is dug up and moved out.

I usually shovel until I get to dirt that looks unaffected. The blocks that I put out usually result in a 2 foot square area being affected, I usually shovel down a foot or two and toss the dirt in a small wagon behind the atv. It's funny though, while I'm removing my stuff 30 days before the season as per regs, I see lots of guys at Wally World and Gander just buying their stuff to put out.:)

Haha you are right there are guys that do that. You would think that they would pull it off the shelves when its time to remove minerals. They do it with other seasonal things such as hunting calls, clothing, ect.
