I am fairly new to bow hunting. I just bought a target that has sides for field points and sides for broadheads. My question is how to remove an arrow with a broadhead attached. Do I just pull it out like I would an arrow with a field point attached?

thats how i pull mine out , i have the Reinhart Rhino Brute but when my heads poke through the back side i continue to pull them through so i dont tear it up anymore than its getting , broadheads are hard on a target no matter what brand it is .

So u actually finish pushing urs the rest of the way through the back of the target instead of pulling them out backwards?

yeah sometimes if there almost all the way through , it doesnt take much especially with the razor sharp slick trick razor tricks i use ......the slicks and most other fixed blades i have are flat on the back side of the blades and tear the crap out of my my targets when pulling them back out all the time .

I'd say it depends on the target material. If it goes all the way through I can usually find the path the blades took coming through the target and get them lined up to pull back through. There is the rare occasion when I've had to unscrew the head and pull the arrow back through without it. I'll never pull my fletchings or push a broadhead through a target intentionally though.

I just pull mine back out like you would a FP. I wouldn't be pulling the fletching end through the target if it was me. Worse case scenario unscrew the boradhead and pull the arrow back out.

I dont have a problem with pulling my fletching end of the shaft through the target , my fletchings dont come off untill i phisically take them off or i shoot one off from another arrow , and second of all i'd rather refletch an arrow if one would come off than wrecking a $175.00 target .

I'd rather do neither and just unscrew the broadhead. Simple and saves any fletching damage and/or target damage. I've never had any damage to any of my targets by pulling the broadhead back out either.
