I am very paranoid about prevenitive mantenance and it payed off last night. I got a flat tire in rush hour traffic yesterday, but luckily I was able to make it into a parking lot to change it. Anyways, I always make it a habit to check the air pressure in my spare whenever I check the other tires. I have seen quite a few other instances with friends where they get a flat and put the spare on only to realize it also has hardly any or any air at all. Just a friendly reminder to check your spare tire and make sure it is good to go if the need arises.
