So I just ordered the Halon 6 and I'm starting over with everything. This will be a major upgrade from my diamond outlaw. I have it all figured out except for the release? I have only ever had trufire. Any suggestions on a new release? Just looking for a starting point. Thank you.

I have a scott samurai with nylon strap. Has a very nice crisp trigger and very adjustable but wont break the bank. Got mine for around $70.

I use a Spot Hogg Wiseguy. I like it because it has a nice trigger, really smooth and it is a hook style release. When I switched to this release a few years ago my groups became much tighter.

Love my carter simple 1 if your into hand releases instead of wrist strap style. I like the hook style fold away true fire I keep in my pack as a spare. shot it for a couple years before going to a hand release this season and really liked it. I picked up a fang yesterday. It is so much smoother than my old fold back true fire.

Which fold back do you have? I have the Hardcore max and love it. But think I'm gonna try out a thumb release soon

I can't remember which one it is. I've had since I started shooting 4yrs ago. I was just upgrading things to keep me from spend money on a Halon.

x2 for the Spot hogg wiseguy. Its a bit pricey for a index finger release but well worth it. You can find them online for a good price

I shoot the Carter Insatiable 2+. This is the first year for it. I use to shoot the Scott Caliper release. So far I really like the Carter.
