I have a tru ball stinger release. My problem is when i use a release i have a much harder time drawing my bow. With just my fingers i can draw 65#'s no problem, with the release i struggle at 60#'s. Would using a 3 finger style release work better for me or is there just some technique im missing on the wrist strap style thats messing me up?

The three finger may work better. With out seeing your form as you draw it'll be hard to tell what the issue is.

I had the opposite effect, I can more easily draw with a release (wrist or 3 finger).

Is there a way you could have someone videotape you drawing your bow each way and post it? A series of photos could work as well.

I think I know what you mean. When I first converted to a total wrist strap. (When I stopped using fingers, I used a hurricane strap style glove) it was awkward. It's different muscles than you use pulling with fingers. My advice is to lessen your draw weight, and build back up to your desired weight.
