Anyone know if the "cheaper" forefinger release aid such as "Stealth Archery", are as good as the more exp ones ?

Typically there is a reason some items are cheaper than others, you will never regret spending the extra $ for a quality product.

I couldn't agree more with Sota on this point. You can't go wrong if you get the best, especially when it comes to release aids. Do your research because the release is how you are connected to the bow. For me it made a huge difference between fun at archery and work at archery.

I agree with what others have said. Like most things in life you pay a little more for quality. However when you consider your release is the one thing that sits between you and your bow you can see why it would be worth it to spend a few dollars to get a good one.

my first release was a cheep one... after about 6 months the jaws became week and started firing my bow at about half draw... never gonna buy a cheep one again

The best deals to be found are to try and grab a higher quality, higher priced release on clearance sale. They usually get discounted after the fall deer season ends.

I was able to pick up a nice True Fire release for half price which put it as being only $10 more than the cheap, low quality brand hanging next to it.
