Nothing beats being up a tree. Even if it is only the summer. I set my LW hang on up today and I planned on shooting a little but I just stayed in the tree and relaxed for awhile It's hard to beat this that's for sure. The view is from my back yard. I got a lot of room to shoot and it's just a nice area. In one of the pictures you will see some water that's from all the rain we got. But it makes for a nice view up here. Any way what are some other things you guys do to relax over the summer? Sent from my XT901
Ive been busy too I finally had time today and it wasn't hot or raining so i got it done. It really is. You should try it. :D
Looks like a nice place. I try to relax as much as I can, but it doesn't seem to work very well. I am in the seemingly neverending task of remodeling my 96 year old house. But, if I had the time, I would probably be doing a lot more fishing and getting ready for bow season.
Nice land there. I love to pop some ground hogs in the summer for the farmer. Keeps my rifle shooting in form in case I don't shoot a buck in archery.
When im not working or doing things around the house, I love to ride the back country roads and just enjoy the farm land. I also love going to the lake and just having a picnic and relaxing. Getting away from all the drama in the world is what I enjoy most, it lets all the worries disappear and is just relaxing.
Well Oly you inspired me, I went out this evening and set the alpha up. I then realized I'm already ready for late season, as I was soaked and covered in mosquitoes.
I like to fish too when i have time. I've also been thinking about hunting it this fall. There are a few does that hang out around this area but they just started coming back so I might wait another year so they can get the numbers back up here a little. Sent from my XT901
Was out on the river last night until 1:30 catching catfish. Now we are headed up to get the ski boat out and spend the day on the lake. Summertime is fun time.
I spend my time relaxing by going up to my hunting land and managing it for animals. I do it every weekend and holiday. It is my therapy. A couple of hours ago, I was working on my tractor up by my garage when something came running toward me. After a few seconds I realized that it was a fawn. He trotted past me at about 20 feet and continued down my driveway then went into the woods on the other side. I have a doe here that always like to rear her fawn in that small patch of woods. It is fun to see the fawn running late getting back to his hide out for the day.
