I've never tried them, but I did help bloodtrail a doe shot with one. The shot (on video) looked really good, like lungs, and was a pass-through, but we only found pin drops of blood for a couple hundred yards, then found nothing.

I sure wouldn't shoot them after looking at them in person.

I know this is rather late to reply, but after firing my first Reign broadhead (100grn.), on my last bow hunt , I couldn't have been happier with the performance. Sighted my bow in with 125grn. G5 Montec and Carbon X-press x14's ,so I wasn't sure what to expect. Had a shot opportunity at 35yrds. with a breeze coming over my shoulder at a doe ,grabbed the Reign equipped arrow and let it fly. The hit was good and had full penetration thru both shoulders and lungs and the blood trail was phenomenal, she was piled up less than 100yrds. from point of impact with very little blood left in her when field dressing. Looking forward to next chance to let 1 fly.
