I went into my local Walmart to check to see if there was any 22. Ammo & get my second turkey tag. I noticed they has about 25 packs of Spitfire 100GR crossbows marked down to less than 15$ a pack. Is there a big difference other than ferrule (?) size between the two?

I could be wrong, but I believe the spring clips that hold the blades in are a touch tighter on the crossbow version. This is to make sure they don't pop open with the added jolt of launching an arrow from a crossbow versus a compound. They will work just fine out of a compound if you wanted to shoot them.
