wondering how to go about registering a bird for the NWTF records. Im assuming I would have to sign up as a member to begin with?

The double beard that I shot last year scored 75 and some change, which would be the #1 bow kill for Vermont, considering there is only one other entry of 69ish... not a lot of competition I know! but considering it is probably one of the top 5 ever killed in Vermont and with a bow it would be kind of cool to have it entered. Vermont big game club scored it, so i would consider that to be official. It was the second largest bird killed last year, second to a new state record (86pts) with a shotgun.

    thanks for your thoughts

i look into this because i shot a 98 class turkey a couple of days ago it sounds like you have to do a lot of bs you have to get an official score you have to have 2 witnesses that are members to that group if you have 1.5 spurs you need pictures of that if you have multiple beards you need pictures of that so i actually said heck with it and i just know where i would be in the record book i just wish they would have made this a little easier

98!!? what are the stats man? any pics? well I did have my bird officially scored by a Vermont big game club scorer... not sure if that would suffice or not, and I also had the bird mounted so I could easily have pics of the spurs and beards... not sure about the witnesses... I hunt alone, im guessing witnesses to say the bird actually exists?
