And the purpose of this thing is WHAT? It really looks like ... welll.... a big FNG waste of time and energy and money. That's not hunting... it's RV'ing. God help me...I'd rather sit on a commode. Really..sometimes I just love sitting in the elements, rain, snow, wind in my bald head....give me the outdoors. I wouldn't sit in that sucker if you paid me or gave it to me.

    Good for you.

I don't sit in them much myself but they do come in handy for the kids.

Nope... just doesn't suit my hunting mode. Fine for those who like it... but I'd rather slink through an alder swamp and be miserable. in the rain.

    It's open. You'd get wet.

Is this pot stirring? If so, is it the "good" kind?

Take a pill David, he wasnt inviting you to sit in it man. Enclosed blinds are a great way to get kids involved in the outdoors. In fact, my wife will even come along if we sit in a blind so she can take pictures of wildlife. I would also prefer to sit in an open stand, but I will certainlly use a blind sometimes also. In fact, my son took his first deer with a bow last Fall out of an enclosed blind I built out of an old grain wagon specifically for that purpose. I knew he would stay comfortable and could get away with more movement etc. Worked great. They definitely have their place.
