That is correct. And honestly FM, if you ignore those references, I won't keep making them. Remember the thread about how over-the-top hardcore fans are annoying, and that caused some fans to dislike certain teams? It doesn't just apply to teams, it also applies to players. All the pub Tebow got as a player and person has caused some people to be annoyed. Not saying he didn't deserve the pub, but you wondered why some people don't care for the guy...thats why. I really don't care one way or the other. I thought the bromance between Tebow and Meyer was funny. I only reference it because Gator fans getting worked up about it. Yes, I think all christians are gay. You got me. Or maybe its just catholic priests...I can't remember.
Nope, I honestly found out second hand from a Georgia fan who thinks Tebow is a great kid and mentioned it to me at work. Stated he had watched the game and was impressed with Tim and how well he did. Don't have a Tebow jersey (don't have any in fact), and haven't watched a pro game on purpose in years. Also, don't cry all that much, and especially about something as trivial as a football game. Just wanted to point out your declaration of his not starting was wrong - and I am betting he will go on to be a great QB in the NFL.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- It's Tim Tebow time for the remainder of the season, whether Kyle Orton likes the situation or not.Orton said he was informed by the Denver Broncos that the rookie will start not only Sunday against the Houston Texans, but in the season finale the following week when the San Diego Chargers visit Invesco Field.
In the win today, Tebow passed for over 300 yds and 1 TD, ran for another TD, and led his team back from a 17 point halftime deficit.
While his delivery isn't perfect, and his accuracy isn't either, I believe Tim Tebow can and will have some success as an NFL QB, and his leadership skills alone will allow him to motivate teammates to play a little better and ultimately make the team he is on a BETTER team. While some may make fun of the Tebow/Meyer "bromance," I think it was more of a Father/Son type relationship, and Urban and Tim were probably closer than a LOT of fathers and sons are or will ever be. Tim's infectious positive attitude is by NO MEANS a bad thing!!! Congrats to Tim and the Broncos on the win and a pretty good performance. Give the guy a chance, I think he'll turn some heads and make some believers!!!
I said all along leave him alone, he has always been a winner, and his release sure as heck ain't as slow as byron leftwhich..hell even farves winds up to throw it... The father son relationship reminds me of a catholic priest joke I heard once...but that is for another time/another place. ROLL TIDE!!!!!
