NebMo your on to me! Looking forward to hearing about my sons first year of high school in the stand. Hopefully we can fill the freezer in the process. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm just looking forward to drawing blood this year. Last year did not go well and didn't fill a single tag Sent from my Z831 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I'm getting my meat out of the way early. In fact I plan to segregate my properties and doe hunt one and not enter my buck spot until Nov 6
I am slowly pulling all of my cams off of my mineral sites. With my cams so spead out it takes me a half day to pull 2. I am transitioning them to mock scrapes and food sources for the season. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Was shooting this evening, terribly i might add... we drug the 3d target out, used a sledge hammer to out little posts in ground and somehow i hurt my left thumb, instant sharp pain and bruise. I didnt think my left thumb would interfere with my shooting but when all you think about is sharp pain you dont shoot well. My father in law on the other hand...
He hasnt taken a deer with it yet but he likes the extreme decrease in sound compared to a firearm and the longer season using archery tags. He tried a compound and just couldnt do it so went with the xbow. Its a tackdriver for certain.
It's cool to know that if the day every comes that I can't draw my Mathews that I will still be able to hunt with a xbow. Family first ( I get that) but my passion is archery season
Hey fellas, Just read through all nine pages. Happy to be here! I live in South Dakota. I have two archery tags for my homestate, where I'll be hunting a mix of public and private. I also have an archery tag for Texas, where I'll be spending part of early November chasing whitetails. I check the forum once a week or so. Your best bet to keep up with my hunts would be to follow me on Instagram (@spencerneuharth), or to listen to the Wired to Hunt Rut Radio podcast, which starts up in mid-September.
