I would stick an arrow in him if he gave me the chance. He's a good looking buck! Any idea of how old?

Only pic so far, so hard to tell but being NY and what I know of my land I would put him at 3.5 and shy of 130

The last two years I've eaten my tag chasing a buck I call Dilater I'll post a pic from last year soon. I found his shed three years ago that began the obsession it was a 54" side. I've had two encounters once each year. Last year I watched him at 65 yards and my number 2 for my land missed him at 41 yards. He was high 150 last year. I set a camera in his core area few weeks back and not retrieving it until rut when I go in to hunt it. Can't wait to see what he is

Anybody else have any bucks they will be chasing that they have some history with? I posted a pic of 2 bucks a couple pages back. The one on the left in that picture is a 6.5 year old that I have a bunch of history with. I call him Cocoa Puff due to him having a dark chocolate rack. I never got to see him last year, but my wife had him around 100 yards on Halloween. I've had a few encounters in the past with him, but never could seal the deal when he was 4.5. I'll be hunting him hard this year, and I have a pretty good idea of what he will be doing come October based on previous years experiences and pics. I won't eat my tag and pass other mature bucks, but they will have to be doing the same thing as he is, because I will be focusing mainly on him.

Sounds like a solid plan Jake, I posted the two main bucks I'm after earlier, the one in Ohio I been watching for 3 years now, this year he is my main goal. In Pa there is a buck I was hunting last year and just didn't get a shot at and he blew up this year. I only got one trail cam video of him, but my sd card was full for 2 weeks! My dumb move, the landowner has been seeing him often and he doesn't hunt but keeps me in the loop. Going to pull cards on Sunday evening. I'll update with any good pics.

Jake, I didn't hunt this farm last year so I wouldn't be tempted. [IMG][IMG]

That's a real good buck fix, all depends on what's around your area. Def wouldn't be ashamed of that buck!
