Woke up to 60 degree weather. Got out of class and it was 52 and misting so I ran home loaded my gear grabbed the wife from work and had her drop me off at my stand. I was covered up tonight. I went to build a surround on a ladder stand to shear the wind for Creepy to sit in Friday and after using a circular saw and drill I still saw over 20 doe and 3 bucks. I will get him on the board boys no fear
Not anything good unfortunately. For the first time ever a doe came in from the neighboring pasture and right downwind. She ran away blowing for 200 yards. That happened about 30 minutes before dark. We have cool weather all through the weekend and I should actually get some time to get a few sits in. I'm ready to draw first blood with the new bow! Since Saturday, I have not seen nor heard a deer on the property. My camera has also gone with no pictures except for seeing me go to and from one of the stands. Taking this week off has been good time in the stand with no results. Here is to hoping the snow coming in helps.

The rut is in full swing here in northern Illinois. I️ saw 3 button bucks this morning nothing special. Tonight I️ saw 8 deer and had a monster 10 point chasing does all over the corn field. Had a possible shooter come by at 613 but I would have needed a flash light and allot less morals to kill him
