I been in Ohio since the 2nd, doing all day sits just had the buck I was after at 15yds and was full draw, he needed one more step and he knew somthing wasn’t right and he turned around! I just about puked. The pics don’t do him justice, that cam is up about 10ft on a tree.
Awesome buck! Youll get another crack at him Sent from my Z831 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
My father in law is in "my stand" and text and said he just got busted by a monster, maybe i should have passed on that little 8, told my wife sorry and stayed at camp. Haha
I’ll post my buck tonight on the score card, I still have to tape him. I been busy with work and hunting Ohio. I’ll be back out in Ohio this Friday-Monday. Things were slow out there this past week, hopefully this cooler temps spikes everything into swing.
From reports im getting stuff is really ramping up in Missouri. Gun season starts this saturday, were kind of lucky in that there arent a lot if gun hunters in area we hunt. Hope this means a big one or two survives into late season!
Our gun season starts a week from Friday in Illinois. I’m going to be hunting 5 days a week for the next two weeks when I️ can. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Truck is packed. Short work trip then I'm off to our valiant leaders deer infestation. November 10th we will reign death from on high like the devil dogs of old. Super pumped. All the squirrels must die...
We will get it done! But if y'all don't hear from creepy again that's cuz he killed Dilater and I had to put the beat down on him
This one is for all of you that hunt farms and know how crazy this is. When the farm harvested the soybeans this year something happened and the entire field is growing another set of beans ( until the first frost )
I️ am beyond frustrated with the two guys I️ have to hunt with at this forest preserve. One has been hunting for a week straight and I️ was uh my stand at 5:10 today and he strolls in at daylight 150 yards away. The other guy is the one who shot the buck we found the other day. He saw my car here, proceeded to sit his stand 50 yards away...I’m also the only one to not have a shooter in bow range I wonder why????? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Sounds like you need to talk wit them, they apparently don’t have any hunting etiquette. I know different people have different styles of hunting, but the stuff your describing is just plain rude and def annoying. I used to run into that on public land, get an extra hour early for my 1.5 mike walk back in and get set up well before daylight just to have a guy walk in and set up 100yds apart at 8am and start rattling every 15 mins. Sometimes you just have to let em know how you feel or go hunt somewhere else.
