Good luck guys! My mom is in town visiting so the earliest I'll be able to go out is Sunday. Unfortunately my truck went down yesterday so it may be longer

Got the camera gear out in the elevated blind... Just need a buck to wander out before shooting light ends

Skimmed through the last 5 or 6 pages to try and get caught up. Saw some success so congrats to everyone that's killed!

I've been hitting it fairly hard lately. I've been wanting to kill a doe but oddly enough I haven't had a single opportunity to get close to drawing on a doe. I've seen quite a few bucks, mostly small though. Here's a nice young buck I had an encounter with a a few days ago.

I also had this buck at 15 yards this morning before shooting/camera light.

I'm setup and ready this evening. Hopefully he comes back through.

One of my favorite bucks on the farm finally showed back up after being MIA for two months! I just think he has a really cool look to him.

Sitting in a observation stand tonight.... Might be too thick to hunt but hopeful that I'll see where they are

Caught a nice cull buck on camera last night. I have pics from last year and at 3.5 and all of 115 I think I'll let a friend kill him. [IMG]

So freaking close tonight. I had the buck I've been after sneak in behind me to 5 yards and get away. Talk about seeing a grown man cry.

Shot a buck in the shoulder this morning. This shows the moment of impact. Giving him time, but am not feeling confident at all in a recovery. That area is notorious for having lots of bone and little lung, so even if I got better than a couple inches of penetration it probably hasn’t hit anything vital. Really bummed right now.

That’s tough but I think you got adequate penetration, at least it looks like you did from the pic. What BH are you shooting? I bet you that buck is dead. Keep us posted! Time is your friend, I’m sure you know that but stay with it, good luck !
