Bummer. Archery hunting can tear a person up. How is your neighbor such an ass? Is he a hunter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Or even a decent human being hunter or not if there's a deer that needs another arrow to get put down you would think he would let you go do it. Sent from my Z831 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Ya I can’t believe the guy, he also hangs pie plates and tarps from tree branches on the property line. Apparently to scare deer away, I called game commission and they said I’m SOL as far as gaining access to his land without his permission.
He says bow hunters are idiots and he sees deer with arrows sticking out of them all the time, if I could just get to the deer I know I could get a shot at him again I’m so frustrated. Him and his family gun hunt and walk alllll over the farm I hunt all the time it’s unreal
Well I’m going in the morning bc I got permission to check a prop that butts up to his, I don’t know the property lines exactly..... I’ll keep y’all posted, this is a first for me it’s an awful feeling
Fix it will turn out into a straight up gun fight with these assholes, they do some jive ass **** all the time out there. I witness a guy shoot an illegal buck in gun season on the prop I hunt and left it lay, it was this guys grandson. I just tagged it and took it home then I went over and gave the guy the antlers and said this is all your wanted apparently. They were pissed off
Ya don't do anything crazy. You're exhausting all resources and that's what matters in my opinion Sent from my Z831 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
If you do your part and look the best you can within the law that is fine with me. You are doing your part to the animal. Bow hunting is rough. I had something similar happen where the buck was found dead on a property a mile away and the owner did not believe me when it was shot. There’s some real A-holes in this world. Rattled in 5 different bucks tonight. 4 little ones and had a 3yr old 9 point at 10 yards that I let go. He didn’t have a whole lot of height to him so he lived another day. It’s starting to get good! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I may have to bring my horns into the woods after this week of rain. Sounds like things are picking up.
