Friday/Saturday/Sunday here in northern Illinois the woods will be HOT. Big cold front pushing through with temps in the high 20’s and mid 40’s! Today is my last day of work. Tomorrow evening I'm going after a 4.5 year old 8 point that I have seen bed on a point with tomorrow's predicted wind. Hopefully he does it again.

Soooooo quick update. I set a stand and sweet baby Jesus it's perfect in a cluster of 4 trees with crazy Vines. 3 lanes but I have a great feeling. On my way out I grabbed a card that has only been out 2 days and bang Dilater was there at 732 after I saw him at 524 last night and that means me crossed two open fields in daylight.
what do think boys is that the same buck. I watched him last year and named him young bull. think he might be a shooter next year.just trying to get all my bucks in the right folders.

Nice to hear everyone’s plans unfold, I’m in a stand currently. I just had a shooter come by at 40yds no shot opportunity, he cut the hill to the ridge where I been hunting some evening and walked right past my one hang on, I swear they know when your not in the stand. Good news is I should have got a pic of him I have a cam up there, if I did I’ll post it to share. Goood luck boys!
