Going back to this post...do you guys think with his mass pretty long tines he could get to 140"?

I'm very new to guessing age and score so I couldn't say one way or the other... But I do know the easiest way to find out is to put a tape to him he's got some some jagged looking tines especially on that left side!!

I don't see him hitting 140. I would think he's closer to low 130s. He has everything to be an absolute giant in the next couple years. I think he's 3.5, and he already has good beams and decent tine length. If he puts on more mass, and continues to grow in other facets he will be awesome. Not saying you shouldn't shoot him though, that's up to you.

 

This bucks at a Forrest preserve where I'm sharing it with 3 guys. This is our last year hunting it unless I get drawn to hunt it again next year. I figured he was 130s.

Looking at my calendar and forecast, think i might be able to get a couple sits in over last weekend of september

 

Sure wish I would be able to hunt this week and weekend. I have to head to SC tomorrow for a wedding this weekend. Yay.

 

I'm just getting really impatient seeing all these guys hunting. October 1st cant't come soon enough. Extended forecast looks like it'll be fairly cool on opening day here in IL.

 

We have another heat wave down here. Were pushing 90 this week and next
