Looking around guys and wow some great bucks have been taken already. We have our work cut out for us but damn it's going to be fun!
I have to say, every year I cringe when I go get my tags and licenses for the year. $117.00 this year to go after the kings animals.
I'm fortunate as far as license prices. They just went up this year and I think I paid $40 which includes 12 deer tags and public land access. The thing that kills me though is I was going to buy a lifetime license for $400 and didn't before the price increase and now theyre $800. This is off of the Forrest preserve I'm hunting. It's the last year I've got this property unless I get lucky and drawn to hunt it again next year. He is a nice looking buck. I think we're both in the same boat. Nice guy now, but if we both can wait, and the live they could be great next year. So torn! Yeah tags suck, but I have been really surprised in NY. The land of taxation and they arent terrible really. I so feel your pain though fix. Nice looking bucks guys! Season opened up this sat but I didn't make it out. Gonna head out tom evening to get us 50 pts and some meat in the freezer! Need some jerky
