    Took this red deer doe for meat a couple of months ago, hopefully i can put up part 2 with some more great ways i like to prepare vension, enjoy.

    Your deer has no fat at all. Is that normal for roe deer?

    Hi, its a red deer from Australia, they are very lean, it makes some great chewin for sure

    I meant red. ;) I think I combined red and doe.

    Do you add any fat to the burgers?

    oh, sorry Christine. I added no fat to the burgers but worked on testing the taste until they were to die for. Everyone who ive served them to has been a believer, here's the thread for that recipe i posted a while back, if you make them up let me know how they fair, blessings Doz.

    Haven't minced any before. Must try it. Perhaps next time I'm across the ditch you could give me lessons on boning out, you made it look so easy. Well done.

    Hi Mike, re boning out deer meat, there's no easy solution its work, but extremely worth while. I also try to sit and spend time with each cut of meat removing the fat.
